8/11-12 inspirations and revelations from school

1. overview in the bible and church history has clearly shown the unfailing love of God. after thousands of years humanity still makes the same mistakes, history keep repeating itself but God has never given up on us. He still insists in involving us in His redemption plan and bring us back to Him.
2. the freedom we have to worship Yaweh has came a long way, lots of people died and sacrificed for what we have taken for granted today. we are in the generation of repeating what other people sow in the past
3. in christian church history, we may get humiliated by the crusades but in the other hand we could also see some people stood up on the stake and gave it a shot despite the outcome. at least they did not stand back and pass on the judgement. at least they tried even they failed
4. we constantly look back the history with judgement based on our better understanding years after but have we taken the history out of its context? see things within its context other than out of context
5. what we have had today has came a long way. show our greatest respect and appreciation.
6. evangelism is to share the love of God, His loving character and faithfulness. shift the focus on yourself to His purpose. it is not about me but all about Him, the love of God in our heart is potent and powerful. love is the foundation of evangelism because its the foundation of our faith. it all begins and ends with Him. love springs from God. if i don;t know God, i don;t know love because God is love.
7. assertive communication. go into he confrontation without bringing in the emotion
8. God is our first love; He challenge our first love for Him. we have the potential of losing the crazy feeling of passion for Him
9. how to maintain the crazy love for Him: give your love to Jesus first place; commit to Him on every level; stir up zeal; repent quickly when spirit convicts you
10.have we asked the right questions? not what is truth but who is truth.
11. what people are gonna to touch when they touch you?
12.  all you need is Jesus but am i really live daily in this belief in my heart?
13. count each of God's blessing
14. delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart- His desire for you
15. we are still in the midst of church history; the history has started from creation and it will end with revelation.
16. church concept started from the heart of God. Israel is considered to be *church*
17. have i been too much focused on God;'s vessels than God's spirit working inside of the vessels? such as John Baptist's disciples devoted themselves so much into this teaching that they cant accept even the deity of Jesus
